INFO/ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. HARVEST DAY

We want to organize the Harvest Day on the second Sabbath of November. The guest speaker will be pastor Dan Serb, the president of the Irish Mission.

All those interested to help for that day, please contact the pastor (details below). We need special features in the program and a well decorated platform. The fellowship lunch also will ask for our involvement.

2. PREACHING SCHEDULE

Do you know when is our next Lord’s Supper?

If you want to know ahead of time the preaching plan for our church, the full calendar for Q4/2017 is available on the Schedule tab in the menu above.

3. STEPS TO CHRIST

For all those commited to read the book “Steps to Christ”, one chapter per week, here is the material in text and audio format, along with study materials for Steps to Christ – Chapter 5. One very interesting quote about a… step to Christ:

“You desire to give yourself to Him, but you are weak in moral power, in slavery to doubt, and controlled by the habits of your life of sin. Your promises and resolutions are like ropes of sand. You cannot control your thoughts, your impulses, your affections. The knowledge of your broken promises and forfeited pledges weakens your confidence in your own sincerity, and causes you to feel that God cannot accept you; but you need not despair. What you need to understand is…”
Please read the chapter and you will find out!

Share with others as all have to come closer and take the steps to Christ!

4. THE WEEK OF PRAYER

The Week of Prayer Readings for 2017 are available here in PDF format. http://dublinwestsda.ie/2017/11/03/week-of-prayer-2017-by-grace-alone/

5. DUBLIN DAY OF FELLOWSHIP

On the first Sabbath of December, that is 2 December 2017, the churches in Greater Dublin Area will have Dublin Day of Fellowship. The event will take place in Tallaght, at Maldron Hotel (in the morning) and at the Romanian Church (in the afternoon). The speaker will be pastor Lorance Johnson (pastor in Cork). Also the Stanborough Press will come with a full display of their offer so that an open bookshop will be organized after sunset. It will be a good opportunity to get new and old resources for our spiritual nourishment and for the outreach.

6. ATTN COLLEGE STUDENTS

Pastor Curtis will come to Dublin West on the 25th of November, as we will have a meeting with the College Students. There is a plan to open a new chapter on CAMPUS Ministry, that is serving the SDA College Students better for their needs but also helping them in serving others.

7. BIBLE STUDIES & VISITS

If you need Bible studies or pastoral visits please contact pastor Christian Salcianu (085 223 4482; or by email at christian@adventist.ie).

“My prayer is not for them [the disciples] alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.” (Jesus Christ in John 17:20-21)
