Afternoon program (3:00 – 4:15pm)

All are invited to stay for an afternoon presentation by Pastor Greg – Living with Loneliness.

Loneliness has become an epidemic, a silent assassin wreaking havoc on the physical and mental health regardless of age, belief, race, or gender. Immigrants and people above 50+ are not to be the hardest hit by this silent killer. It is twice as deadly as obesity and more dangerous than smoking 15 cigarettes a day. It is a sneaky, capricious beast that can overwhelm you at anytime.

Are you lonely? Or would you like to help someone suffering from loneliness? Then make a date this Sabbath afternoon to learn how Christ dealt with His loneliness in a simple practical way.

Projects in Dublin West

Lord’s Supper for the Homeless

It is again that time of the year to share our Christian compassion and care. No, it’s not Christmas, nor Easter, neither a Special Day with a humanitarian aid emphasis promoted by a Worldwide organization. It is just our Lord’s Supper, toward the end of the quarter.

As in our previous ocassions, we are inviting all to use such an important day for us to reach out to those who do not enjoy the life as we do. Read more here: Lord’s Supper for the Homeless.

Camp Meeting 2018

The next Irish Mission Family camp will take place at Newmarket on Fergus on the 3rd to 6th of August 2018. We hope that this will be the best attended Camp Meeting in the history of the Irish Mission. Churches across Ireland would have received a special personal invitation by now. Keep an eye on this space for more registration details. Any urgent questions? E-mail Pastor Lorance Johnson – lorance@adventist.ie

Summer Camp 2018

Every year in the month of August we have the Summer Camp, for kids and youth. Save the dates for the one coming: 14-22 August, Portlick Campsite, Athlone. More details and registration will follow soon. We plan to have a better experience than the one of last year, so we are thinking of new and exciting activities for all those coming.
