Please be attentive to the kids during this time and stick to this simple requirement: no food in the sanctuary 🙂
AFTERNOON PROGRAM
We do things together (3:00 – 4:00 pm)
Our afternoon program is dedicated to a practical study continuing with the morning presentation. Have you noticed how Stephen ended his life? Yes, in prayer. A prayer for his… executioners.
The Sabbath School lesson says:
“Only a person with a superior character and unwavering faith could do such a thing, a powerful manifestation of his faith and the reality of Christ in his life.”
Now, do you recall when you took your first steps toward this spiritual exercise called “prayer”? How come that today you “know” how to pray? Is there a “checklist” of features that validate a prayer?
Stay for this afternoon short sharing time and study on “Essentials of Prayer”, starting from Luke 11:1-13, followed by small groups discussions and a season of prayer.
Bible Study Class
As some of the youth in the church asked the pastor for Bible studies, we’ve developed a website where an online Bible Study Class will have all the resources needed. One can study at his/her own pace, while specific additional meetings and presentations will take place as needed.
We’ve got so far 12 people (from the three churches in Dublin) who already registered. If you are interested to a Bible Study Class or know others that might be, please register for the Essentials series or share this link to them. www.biblestudyclass.org
