Afternoon Program | 3:00 pm – 4:15 pm
Following the Sabbath School topic, pastor Christian will lead us to identify the ups and downs / the “rhythms of life” as applied in the life of Joseph. Our discovery will project beautiful lights on the life of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Joseph said to them, “Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones. Thus he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.
We thank you all for the collection of humanitarian help towards homeless people served via Hope in the Darkness. The goods were delivered this last week and hopefully each will reach its destination as a blessing.
2. DELEGATES FOR IM SESSION.
For our Irish Mission session, in October, Dublin West church has to forward 6 names as delegates. On the second Sabbath we will decide on those 6 names: the church board will come with 3 names of its members, and the other 3 will be decided by the church, from the floor, on that Sabbath, in a short business meeting.
3. HELPING PATHFINDERS.
Next week, on the Sabbath afternoon, we will be blessed to participate to a concert. Its aim is to give us the opportunity to help raise funds for the Pathfinders, as 7 of our kids, members in Dublin Royals, will participate to PBE 2019 in USA at the end of this month.
4. YOUTH OUTPOST.
As usual on every second Sabbath of the month, the Youth Outpost will have a special guest. This time our guest is pastor Dejan Stojkovic, the BUC Youth Director. Please do your best to assist the youth in getting there – Maldron Hotel, Tallaght.
5. SANDWICHES FOR HOMELESS.
Following our quaterly collection of goods for homeless people, we became aware of another special need, a help on a monthly basis – making sandwiches for homeless people. After a presentation in church (those missing, please get informed from others), we’ve decided to embark on the project. For the first opportunity to help, on the 18th of April – please contact pastor or elder Ropo.
6. EASTER RETREAT.
Teen and young adults, aged between 13 and 30 are invited to join for the annual event 3 Missions Easter Retreat – 19-22 April, in Wales. Please contact Heather Haynes, our youth leader for Dublin area – 085 166 2380.
7. DUBLIN YOUTH IN PRAISE.
Last Sabbath of the month, our church program will be run by youth. Thamu will preach while Berlinda and Dublin Youth in Praise will delight us with music and drama for the afternoon program entitled “Where there’s life, there’s hope”.
